We can't imagine a better environment for our kids than Rosa Parks-Edison. The education they are getting now will serve them for the rest of our lives.

The teachers at Rosa Parks are great! I love the idea of the SLC's. Getting to meet your child's teacher face to face and review their learning skills and their progress really shows your child that you care about being involved, Also, the interest that the teacher shows lets you know, as a parent, that they are vested in your child's education.

The emphasis that the Edison schools place on reading and foreign language (Spanish) makes it a great school!

I love the way the school helps each child where they are. They have individual goals for each quarter and makes the family a part of helping to achieve them.

Rosa Parks is a wonderful school! Every teacher there truly cares about each student. They strive to make a difference in every child. My son absolutely loves school and is so excited to learn each day. His learning has far exceeded my expectations. I am very happy that he has had the opportunity to attend Rosa Parks.

The teachers and staff go above and beyond to make sure the kids are unerstanding and doing their work. I have even gotten calls at home on the week-end.

This is an awesome school! My daughter is about to finish her first year of school! She has learned so much and is eager to continue as a first grader next year! The staff is very friendly and there is an assortment of great teachers that are willing to listen and help with anything. I would recommend this school to anyone in the area!

Our two children have been attending this school since kindergarten. Our experiences with teachers, administrators and support staff have been very positive and helpful. We are very pleased with the education our children are receiving and the regular involvement and follow-up with us regarding our children's progress in class.

I have has kids in Rosa Parks for four years now and absolutely love it. My children are cared for at their levels, which I have one how has difficulty learning and a child who is well above her level and all of them get all the needs and more. All the staff is a delight. I extremely glad to see such a caring new principal and new assistant principal.

The teachers care and are very dedicated; however the office Administration do not follow through with what is promised. If you do not agree with their measures they brush you off in hopes parents will not take a stand.

My 3 children go to this school, and it's a blessing - especially considering the performance of the rest of the district. The teachers are wonderful, the staff is very helpful, and the curriculum is geared towards parental involvement. The emphasis on parental involvement is key here: the school asks for (and gets) a lot more involvement from parents than a traditional school, and they put that involvement to use.

Highest test scores in the county. Very high parent involvement. Active student involvement. Progressive education. Fantastic school.

I am a parent of four students at Rosa Parks, and it is worth the wait of getting off the waiting list. The academic standards are really high for all grade levels. The staff work well with the parents and the PTA. Every student is given one on one attention in subjects of need, and parents are in constant contact with teachers and staff.

My son started at RPE in 2nd grade, we knew what we were getting into with the Edison style and was excited that finally Indiana has decided to change from the old school to some new techniques. My son did extremely well here. Not only are the teachers awesome but so is the rest of the staff! It does take a village to raise a child! Not only parent envolvement but also teacher who care. This however is not always present. My daughter now attends 1st grade and is once again doing wonderful. This is a great school and well prepares students for life too. I would highly recommend this school, it would be a shame if you past this up. Go Rockets!

I did not care for the curriculum. The school seemed to focus more on self esteem than performance. I guess I'm old fashioned. My child is thriving at another Perry school. The teachers do seem dedicated, however.

My daughter has gone to this school since Kindergarten and I have to say has had the most wonderful, young, vibrant, and fresh teachers. She is in the third grade and can read far better than I could at her age. This school does require parent involvement and hard work, but it's all well worth it. She can add huge numbers in her head already as well. I feel so blessed to be a part of this school. Go Rockets!

[My son] started at Rpe when it opened and he was in second grade. Needless to say what I learned at his first SLC (student learning conference) was mind blowing. I found out more about what his strong suits were and where he needed help at. Not only can they tell you they can pin point the problem areas. Which I believe is amazing. I was a little unsure of this program myself mainly because I didn't understand and frankly I still don't some of the techniques but it works! He in the 5th and this kid is thriving! Its not always easy but no one ever said kids would be right! :)

I am very much impressed by the way the teachers take care of the academic growth of the students. The students who know more than their age group , they have special way of making these students learn more and more. I am so happy that my son got admission in this school, thank his lucky stars.
